Scope of Works
Due to the presence of contamination across the property, a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) was prepared to excavate 60,000m3 of soil to enable the property to be remediated to a standard suitable for industrial land use. The RAP identified the extent of remediation required, including contamination issues and remediation strategies.
Asbestos in surface soils was surface picked of asbestos fragments from across the ground surface. The objectives of the project was to:
• Remediate the property in accordance with the Remedial Action Plan;
• Validate and reinstate the property, such that it may be declared suitable for Industrial Land Use; and
• Minimise disruptions and impact to surrounding property owners, the local community and the environment.
